update regarding COVID-19

Dear GoMoto Customers,

On behalf of everyone at GoMoto, our hearts go out to all those affected by COVID-19 including those diagnosed along with friends and family members and those whose lives and jobs have been greatly impacted. We recognize that we are in a position to support the collective fight against COVID-19, and following guidance from the CDC, we understand that practicing social distancing is critically important at this time. The situation is changing rapidly, and to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus, we highly urge our dealers to utilize your Virtual Service Advisors as much as possible to reduce human interaction in your service departments.

We believe it’s critical to do our part to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19. Having hand sanitizer located next to the units will be helpful for customers to use before and after the kiosk check-ins.

Please refer to the attached documents which provide the recommended cleaning procedures for your Indoor and Outdoor Kiosks to help keep them thoroughly sanitized. Additional safety measures are outlined below:

  • Please do not use bleach or Clorox wipes around the kiosk at any time.

  • Apply hand sanitizers before and after the interactive session, but reduce the amount of excess sanitizer that could potentially be applied to the touch screen during the interaction.

  • Disinfect the kiosks after each use

  • Use only Windex or Formula 409 when cleaning, and do not directly spray onto the touch screen surface; instead spray the liquid onto the cloth conservatively and wipe gently across the screen.

  • Use only microfiber cloths when wiping the screen.
